VICE-CHANCELLORS' COURTS - Friday, July 30 1852
(Before Sir R. T. Kindersley)
This suit relates to the property of the late Mr Jermy, of Stanfield Hall, and on the present occasion came before the Court upon a petition to confirm the report of the Master, whereby he found that the widow of Mr Jermy, jun., was entitled to dower, as it appeared that on the fatal night when the murder took place the son survived the father for a short period, and thereby became entitled to the property, and his widow was therefore dowable.
Mr Prendergast appeared in support of the petition; Mr Nichols appeared for the heir at law.
The VICE-CHANCELLOR made the order.
