Sacred to the Memory of JACOB PRESTON Esq. eldest Son of ISAAC PRESTON Esq. and ALICE his Wife. He married Aug. 1772 MARY Daughter and Coheir of THOMAS EDWARDS Esq. and ANN his Wife. To the Constant Exercise of Piety, Justice, and Humanity, Virtues which as they most benefit Society best adorn the Man. He added a peculiar Attention to the distresses of his Poorer Neighbours; and in the very Act of promoting a Plan for their most effectual Relief He was suddenly snatched from this World on the 23rd of October 1787 in the 47th Year of his Age leaving no issue.
